Stephen Lehman

Board member and responsible for STS Medical Group 

Stephen A. Lehman is a Partner of Monitor Clipper Partners based in MCP’s Zurich office. He joined MCP in 2003 and became a Partner in 2013 Prior to joining MCP, Mr. Lehman was a consultant at Monitor, working primarily on MCP-related projects. Mr. Lehman received a B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and mathematics from Williams College. Stephen speaks English and Italian.

Augusto Orsini

Board member and Chief Executive Officer

Augusto Orsini is CEO, Board member and Shareholder of STS Medical Group. Mr. Orsini is also founder and major shareholder of AEM Biotech, a consulting firm in medical device industry. He has a 30-year experience in the industry of medical devices. Prior to STS, Augusto Orsini was CEO of Servizi Italia Medical, a supplier of CPTs and consumables to the Italian surgical theater and sterilization markets; CEO of Amedes S.p.A., a company active in the distribution of medical devices in South Europe; Business Manager of the Acute Care division of Mölnlycke Health Care. Mr. Orsini had the original idea for STS Medical Group in 2008 and teamed up with entrepreneurial investor Monitor Clipper Partners from 2011 onwards. Mr. Orsini received an MBA in Accountancy Finance in 1991, from the Consorzio Studi Postuniversitari Pavese (Pavia University, Associazione Industriali Pavese e Banca Intesa). He also attended many Executive programs at prestigious Business schools such as IMD, Nus/Stanford and UCLA. Augusto speaks Italian and English.

Luigi Salvadori

Board member

Luigi Salvadori was born in 1957 in Florence, and graduated from University with honors. He soon started working for the family business – Luigi Salvadori SpA – a leader in the surgical clothing sector, where he has then served as CEO of the Company since 1980 and President since 2000. For his long traditions, founded by his grandfather over 100 years ago, the company is now is part of the “Historical Italian Businesses” association. In 2013, Luigi Salvadori was granted Honorary Citizenship by the city of Sandanski in Bulgaria where, in 1994, he had created a subsidiary Company named “Salvamed AD”, giving life to a genuine industrial internationalization. Luigi Salvadori is a member of the General Confederation of Italian Industry (known as Confindustria) in the National, Regional, Provincial, and Sector associations. He is Chairperson of ESDREMA (European Surgical Clothing Manufacturers Association). He is the President of the “Historical Tuscan Businesses” association and Vice-President of the “Historical Italian Businesses” association. He is a member and partner of the “Steering Committee” at Ente Casse di Risparmio Credit Union.

Valérie Emond

Qualifications:

Master’s in business administration – University of Liège (Belgium) and Stirling (UK) – Luxembourg chartered accountant.

Experience:

Valérie started her career in 1996 in the Tax advisory practice at KPMG Luxembourg. In 2006 she joined FACTS Services and branched out further into Compliance, HR, and various finance functions, including the relationship with the CSSF. Based on her tax and chartered accountant experience, she offers her clients a wide and varied professional service.

Today, she is thrilled to put her 20 years of experience at Qualix SA’s services in supporting clients such as the STS Medical Group, among many other entrepreneurial ventures.
